Sayings
he Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "The best supplication is the supplication on the day of Arafat". [al-Tirmidhi (3585) and graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) mentioned:
"The best Du'aa, is the Du'aa of 'Arafah. The best of that which myself and the Prophets before me have said is: -Laa Ilaaha Illallaah Wahdahu Laa Shareeka Lahu, Lahul Mulk Wa Lahul Hamd Wa Huwa Alaa Kulli Shay In Qadeer- None has the right to be worshiped except Allaah, who is alone without partners. For Him is the dominion and the praise. He is capable of doing all things."

Abu Ja‘far: (said to his companions)
“Can any of you put his hand in the pocket of his brother and take what he wants?” They replied, “No.” He said, “Then you are not brothers as you claim.”

Hassan Al-Basree:
“Those who were before you used to often consider the nearness of death. One of them would often take water for purity, fulfill the call of nature and perform ablution, fearing that Allaah’s Command (death) might come to him while he is not in a state of purity.”

Ash-Shanqiti:
"The wives of the Prophet are Ahl-ul-Bayt, together with (amongst others) Faatimah, 'Ali, al-Hasan and al-Husayn."

al-Azdi:
"I asked Ibn 'Abbas about Jihaad. He said "Do you want to know what is better than that? Build a masjid, teach duties, Sunnah and understanding of the religion."

Our Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "Allah does not take away knowledge, by taking it away from (the hearts of) the people, but takes it away by the death of the scholars"

Ibn Qayyim:

Ibn Al-Mubaarak:
“Whenever a man would see something from his brother that he dislikes, he would give him orders in private and forbid him in private. Conversely, he would be rewarded for him screening his brother and also rewarded for forbidding evil. As for today, whenever a man sees what he dislikes he angers his brother and unveils his screen.”
